Job summary

Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) in Smithfield, NC, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee production, coordinate shifts, and lead teams to meet quality and safety standards. You will implement visual management and drive continuous improvement across the line.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, line leadership experience, ERP familiarity, and a Lean/Six Sigma mindset. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and a discretionary bonus may be earned based on performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years’ experience as a line leader or supervisor.
• Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma training preferred.
• Experience with ERP and production support systems.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality and safety of the work and provide needed assistance.
• Manage production shifts and supervise staff.
• Coordinate needs with other departments to meet customer demands.
• Ensure compliance with OPW policies and training requirements.
• Drive continual improvement and 5S initiatives in the factory.
