Job summary

Dover Precision Components’ FW Murphy Production Controls seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production operations, ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals, and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate withPlanning, Supply Chain, and Quality to resolve issues and optimize workflow.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, timekeeping oversight, and leadership in a high-productivity environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Industrial or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a supervisor in lieu of degree.
• Strong supervisory and communication capabilities in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Planning to ensure production schedules are executed efficiently.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure materials are available and delivered on time.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor daily production performance, identify issues, and escalate as needed.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate employees to promote accountability and high performance.
• Maintain accurate employee timekeeping and attendance records.
• Foster a safe, productive, and continuous improvement-focused work environment.
