Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Mason City is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the plant leadership team. The role provides management and leadership to deliver results and drive improvements in day-to-day manufacturing operations.

You will lead a team on a rotating 12-hour schedule, develop and implement safety programs, and collaborate with hourly staff and management to meet productivity, cost, quality and engagement goals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business, Food Science, Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisor role.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lead and mentor large teams of hourly associates.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and accountability.
• Ability to work with a wide range of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Achieve productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, quality, safety and employee engagement objectives through team contributions.
• Provide direction, leadership and development to direct reports through empowerment and on-the-job assignments.
• Develop, implement and promote safety programs and safe work practices.
