Baxter International Inc. in Marion, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor II to lead daily manufacturing on day and night shifts, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are met.

You will develop teams, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of safety and accountability. The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing leadership, cGMP knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or related technical discipline with 3+ years of manufacturing experience; or an Associate degree with equivalent manufacturing experience and relevant leadership experience.
• 4+ years of experience leading, supervising, or managing employees within a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated production environment.
• Working knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize competing demands, and achieve operational goals in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience analyzing performance metrics, identifying root causes, and implementing process improvements that drive measurable results.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage frontline employees, cross-functional partners, and senior leaders.
• Proficiency with manufacturing systems, business software applications, and production documentation processes.
• Experience supporting regulatory audits or inspections, including FDA interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations on day and night shift to hit production schedules and quality targets.
• Coach and develop team members through performance management and training.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity, product quality, operational efficiency, and resource utilization.
• Monitor manufacturing metrics and take corrective actions to meet business objectives.
• Review batch records and documentation to support product release and compliance.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve manufacturing issues and support new products or equipment introductions.
• Lead investigations, audits, and regulatory inspections with a safety-focused culture.
