Land O’Lakes, a premier agribusiness and dairy foods cooperative, is seeking a Second Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to coordinate production, packing, and ingredient processing for granular lines in the animal feed division. You will drive safety as a core value while building a high-performing production team.

The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, and collaboration with Maintenance and Feed teams to achieve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across packaging operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience in packaging operations, preferably food/animal feed.
• Strong EHS understanding and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

The Second Shift Manufacturing Supervisor will be coordinating production, packing, and ingredient processing for granular production lines for the animal feed division. You will get to be the driver of their top core value of Safety, as well as derive quality and operational performance while developing a high-performing production team.

What you NEED to SUCCEED in this exciting opportunity:

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of leadership experience within a food, feed, or related industrial manufacturing environment; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience in packaging operations (Food packaging preferred, Animal feed is a slam dunk)
• EHS understanding in a manufacturing environment, experience in implementing and representing SAFETY in all operations through adherence to safety procedures
• Good collaborative and communication skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production schedules.
• Be a LEADER that attracts, retains, and develops the BEST production team under your direction that empowers, engages, and inspires employees.

What You GET TO DO in this role:

• Proven ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and manage performance, and exceed customer requirements and TMM objectives. Constantly drive improvements in the TMM processes.
• Partner closely with Maintenance and Feed Team to ensure operational excellence under the corporate brand and core values.
• Lead the support the implementation of NEW equipment, processes, and production.
• Lead and develop your own high-performing team that supports the quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of Animal Feed shipments.
• Leads engagement of employees, work teams, and the utilization of equipment technology within the packaging production environment.
• Leads through positive influence; coaching and development of others and, and provides clear performance feedback and enforcement (when appropriate).
