Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent for the xPL Offsite Manufacturing Facility division, based at our Decatur, AL facility. The role oversees safety programs, production planning, and field leadership to ensure timely project delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years of superintendent experience, strong EH&S knowledge, and a track record of coordinating trades and forepersons to meet complex schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field; minimum 3 years as Superintendent or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing means and methods, scheduling and cost control, trade practices, and contract documents.
• Proven ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and manage safety compliance (EH&S).

Responsibilities

• Implement jobsite safety program with EH&S to support xPL team and trades.
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) with forepersons for daily pre-task planning.
• Monitor production, adjust labor and sequencing to meet project schedule and productivity targets.
• Manage staffing, procurement, and field issue resolution with stakeholders.
