Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of experience in a Staff Accountant role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP/Oracle).
• Experience with inventory costing and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including preparing supporting schedules.
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation calculations.
• Support inventory costing and analysis, including variance explanations.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve processes.
