The Pivot Group Network is actively connecting DeWitt-area manufacturers with experienced Staff Accountants. We are seeking professionals who can contribute to month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting while aligning with GAAP and manufacturing cost analysis.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, have 2+ years of general ledger experience, and are proficient with ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience.
• Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation.
• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Support external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations.
• Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation.
