Power Solutions International (PSI) is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Senior Accounting Manager with journal entries, reconciliations, and cost accounting. The role emphasizes accurate monthly close, standard costing, and SOX-compliant controls within an ERP environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor in Accounting with GAAP knowledge and manufacturing experience, plus ERP experience (Epicor). CPA candidates are preferred, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for monthly close.
• Assist with cost accounting and standard costs in ERP.
• Perform month-end closing procedures and supporting schedules.
• Create ad-hoc financial and regulatory reports for audits.
• Document policies and workflows for assigned areas.
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls.
