Job summary

Power Solutions International (PSI) is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the Senior Accounting Manager with monthly close, journal entries and cost accounting reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and SOX compliance. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, GAAP knowledge, and manufacturing accounting experience; CPA preferred.

Epicor ERP knowledge is a plus. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent required.
• GAAP knowledge required; public company experience a plus.
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Maintain standard costs and cost data in ERP (Epicor).
• Conduct month-end closing procedures and supporting schedules.
• Prepare account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial reports.
• Document policies and workflows for assigned accounting areas.
