Novolex is seeking a Site Safety Lead to strengthen our safety culture at our manufacturing location in Illinois. The role focuses on injury prevention, compliance improvements, and employee engagement across the site.

Responsibilities include leading Behavior Based Safety initiatives, conducting trainings, auditing training programs, and collaborating with site leaders to improve safety performance.

Qualificações

• Safety-focused with experience in injury prevention, compliance, and employee engagement.
• Baseline knowledge of Lockout Tagout, PPE, Machine Guarding, Forklift Safety, and Behavior Based Safety.
• Proficient with standard Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Capable of communicating in large group settings and working with site leaders.
• Reliable and coachable with experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead site safety programs to prevent injuries and improve compliance.
• Improve injury prevention, engagement, and compliance activities at the location.
• Act as site SME on Behavior Based Safety and train coworkers on the BBS program.
• Conduct safety trainings for peers, new hires, visitors, and vendors.
• Audit On-The-Job Training for gaps and drive improvements.
• Participate in safety meetings and communicate action items to leadership.
• Coach leaders and peers on engagement and incident reporting programs.
• Follow up on safety incidents, alerts, and site-specific standard work.
