Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking a Site Manager for its Calverton, NY Dry Mix Concrete facility. You will lead a fast-paced manufacturing site, manage safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive bottom-line results with a hands-on leadership style.

Key duties include reducing costs, implementing continuous improvements, mentoring the site team, and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. This role spends substantial time on the floor and requires a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years as a plant manager in a similar industry or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience managing automated, high-speed manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to review and discuss results of production reports and financial statements.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, productivity and quality to meet site goals.
• Control expenses to meet financial objectives and drive efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement culture and share best practices across sites.
• Recruit, develop and mentor a strong site staff and oversee training programs.
• Ensure BOM accuracy and that product is manufactured to cost and quality standards.
