Job summary

Leggett & Platt is seeking a Shift Superintendent to provide leadership for a Triad Process in the plant, ensuring safe operation and adherence to the Branch Mission and Goals. You will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and multiple departments to maintain quality, efficiency, and compliance with ISO and internal standards.

The role requires deep knowledge of manufacturing, product structures, and MRP logic, with the ability to supervise a large team and handle evening or overnight

Qualifications

• Must have intimate knowledge of the manufacturing process used by the company.
• Strong product familiarity and understanding of product structures.
• Solid understanding of MRP logic and numerical skills.
• Experience supervising a large manufacturing team and coordinating with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and stop non‑conformances related to products, processes, or quality systems.
• Lead actions to prevent non‑conformities and verify the effectiveness of solutions.
• Oversee production teams and set daily goals for supervisors.
• Coordinate with Safety, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
• Monitor scheduling and overtime, and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
