Job summary

VFM, a Las Vegas-based manufacturer, is seeking a Manufacturing Sales Engineer to support a diverse customer base and contribute to growth across budgets and timelines.

The role blends sales with engineering, QA, operations, and suppliers, from quotation and design support to manufacturing and customer relationship management. You will develop product cost estimates, support material sourcing, and help forecast customer demand while building strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business.
• 0-2 years of professional work experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Self-motivated with a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain product designs, solid models, and manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and suppliers to support production and quality requirements.
• Prepare customer quotations and establish product cost estimates.
• Support raw material purchasing through distributors and mill suppliers.
• Work closely with the VFM Commercial Team to support sales initiatives and customer growth.
• Develop a thorough understanding of both the sales process and manufacturing operations.
• Build, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned customer accounts.
• Work with customers to develop annual forecasts and volume projections.
• Identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Develop and execute business plans focused on account growth and key projects.
• Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and presentations as needed.
• Travel as required to support customer visits, account development, and trade shows.
• Participate in new business development activities and strategic sales initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
