Job summary

Vegas Fastener Manufacturing / Power Gen Components is seeking a Manufacturing Sales Engineer in Las Vegas to blend sales with technical design support. You will work across Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of precision components.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, cost estimation, and building strong customer relationships, with travel to meet clients and support bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business.
• 0-2 years of professional work experience.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Self-motivated with a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain product designs, solid models, and manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and suppliers to support production and quality requirements.
• Prepare customer quotations and establish product cost estimates.
• Support raw material purchasing through distributors and mill suppliers.
• Work closely with the VFM Commercial Team to support sales initiatives and customer growth.
• Develop a thorough understanding of both the sales process and manufacturing operations.
• Build, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned customer accounts.
• Work with customers to develop annual forecasts and volume projections.
• Identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Develop and execute business plans focused on account growth and key projects.
• Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and presentations as needed.
• Travel as required to support customer visits, account development, and trade shows.
• Participate in new business development activities and strategic sales initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
