Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Tool & Die certification preferred.
• Experience in sales engineering or customer-facing technical support.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T and assess manufacturability.
• Understanding of materials, secondary operations, cost estimating, and quoting.

Responsabilités

• Partner with customers and Business Development to identify opportunities and recommend manufacturing solutions.
• Review customer drawings, designs, and specifications for manufacturability and cost improvement.
• Support estimating, quoting, value engineering, prototyping, and new product development.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure successful product launches and production transitions.
• Provide technical presentations, customer support, and manufacturing recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to grow prototype sales and improve prototype-to-production conversion.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help develop technical resources.
• Travel to customer locations as needed, up to 25%.

An established fabrication manufacturer is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise, collaborate with customers, and support business development. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, improving part manufacturability, and supporting prototypes through production, with the opportunity to grow into a leadership role over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and Business Development to identify opportunities and recommend manufacturing solutions
• Review customer drawings, designs, and specifications for manufacturability and cost improvement
• Support estimating, quoting, value engineering, prototyping, and new product development
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure successful product launches and production transitions
• Provide technical presentations, customer support, and manufacturing recommendations
• Identify opportunities to grow prototype sales and improve prototype-to-production conversion
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help develop technical resources
• Travel to customer locations as needed, up to 25%

Qualifications

• Strong background in metal stamping, fabrication, tooling, or related manufacturing processes
• Experience in sales engineering, applications engineering, or customer-facing technical support
• Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T and assess part manufacturability
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks
• Understanding of materials, secondary operations, cost estimating, and quoting
• Bachelor's degree, Tool & Die certification, or equivalent experience preferred
• Interest in developing leadership skills and growing into a management role over time

Salary and Schedule

• Salary: Up to $95,000 annually, with flexibility for strong candidates
