Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Safety Technician to maintain a safe, compliant manufacturing environment. You will perform inspections, implement safety plans, and support training across shifts, contributing to a strong safety culture.

The role requires OSHA 30-Hour training (or willingness to obtain), manufacturing experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting while promoting continuous improvement and effective safety messaging.

Qualificações

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• OSHA 30-Hour training completed (or willingness to obtain).
• Willingness to learn and support continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Ability to work in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to work across shifts, including weekends as required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify hazards.
• Implement safety plans and procedures to prevent accidents.
• Assist with safety training sessions for employees.
• Assist with investigation of workplace accidents and recommendations.
• Maintain records of safety incidents and track corrective actions.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Promote safe work behaviors and reinforce a safety culture on the floor.
