The Safety Technician helps ensure regulatory compliance, reduces workplace risk, and reinforces GPC's culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify and assess potential hazards.
• - Implement safety plans and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• - Assist with training sessions for employees on workplace safety procedures and protocols.
• - Assist with Investigation of workplace accidents to determine the cause and make recommendations for future prevention.
• - Assist with maintaining records of workplace safety incidents and track progress on implementation of corrective actions.
• - Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
• - Promote safe work behaviors on the production floor and reinforce a strong safety culture.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
