Global Power Components is seeking a Safety Technician to help maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment. You will conduct inspections, implement safety plans, assist with training, and help investigate incidents to prevent recurrence.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing experience, OSHA 30-hour training (or willingness to obtain), strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work across shifts, including weekends as needed. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Completion of OSHA 30‑Hour training (or willing to obtain).
• Willingness to learn and support continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Ability to work across shifts, including weekends as required.

Aufgaben

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify and assess potential hazards.
• Implement safety plans and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with training sessions for employees on workplace safety procedures and protocols.
• Assist with investigation of workplace accidents to determine the cause and make recommendations for future prevention.
• Assist with maintaining records of workplace safety incidents and track progress on implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Promote safe work behaviors on the production floor and reinforce a strong safety culture.
