Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Safety Technician to ensure a safe and compliant manufacturing environment. You will inspect for hazards, implement safety plans, and assist with training across our large fabrication and assembly operations.

The role supports regulatory compliance, reduces workplace risk, and reinforces a culture of continuous improvement. OSHA standards familiarity and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Completion of OSHA 30‑Hour training (or willingness to obtain).
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• Ability to work across shifts, including weekends as required.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify hazards.
• Implement safety plans and procedures to prevent accidents.
• Assist with training sessions on safety procedures.
• Investigate workplace accidents to determine causes and prevent recurrence.
• Maintain records of safety incidents and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
