Job summary

Waaree Solar Americas seeks a Safety Technician to join the EHS team at the Brookshire, TX facility. You will conduct regular safety inspections, assist with investigations, deliver employee safety training, and maintain records to support regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and warehouse teams to implement JHA processes, reinforce PPE usage, and promote a proactive safety culture across sites, while staying current with OSHA standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Safety or EHS support role within a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety standards, and hazard recognition practices.
• Bilingual English and Spanish.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and operations.
• Deliver employee safety training and toolbox talks.
• Assist with accident and incident investigations to determine root causes and preventive actions.
• Maintain records of safety incidents and track corrective actions.
• Assist with JHAs and pre-task safety planning.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure regulatory compliance and standards.
• Monitor safety performance and provide feedback to staff and management.
• Support emergency preparedness programs and safety signage.
