Zusammenfassung

CS Power Systems, a cutting-edge division of Canadian Solar, is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Technician to support safety programs in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

The role requires knowledge of OSHA, chemical safety, and incident investigations; you will conduct inspections, maintain records, deliver training, and collaborate with operations to drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s or Bachelor degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Process Engineering or related field.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and chemical safety programs.
• Familiarity with LOTO, Confined Space, Hot Work, Machine Guarding, and Electrical Safety programs.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and safety audits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Aufgaben

• Support daily EHS operations and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations.
• Monitor hazardous chemical storage, handling, transportation, and disposal.
• Perform air quality, noise, wastewater, and environmental monitoring activities.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), chemical inventories, and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate hazardous waste management activities in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining safety management systems and EHS programs.
• Collaborate with facility, operations and maintenance teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Assist in ergonomic evaluation, conduct routine workplace safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
• Support emergency response activities, spill response, and evacuation drills.
• Coordinate and deliver employee safety orientations and ongoing training programs.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training documentation, and compliance files.
• Support emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills and planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
