Job summary

Waaree Solar Americas is hiring a Facility Technician to support maintenance and operations for our Brookshire, TX facilities. You will help maintain building systems, assist in capital projects, and ensure reliable factory support infrastructure.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience and basic electrical/plumbing skills. You will perform lighting/electrical work, inspect HVAC and support equipment, and maintain logs and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on facility or industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles related to facility maintenance.
• At least 1 year forklift operation in a warehouse or facility environment.
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Familiarity with mechanical/electrical systems and clean rooms is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and procedures.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of facility infrastructure and office spaces.
• Install and troubleshoot lighting systems, including LED fixtures and switches.
• Perform basic electrical troubleshooting on facility equipment and circuits.
• Inspect and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Maintain water filtration and treatment equipment for reliability.
• Carry out minor carpentry and assembly of furniture and fixtures.
• Inspect facility support equipment like HVAC, chillers, pumps, and AHUs.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate logs.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
• Read architectural drawings and equipment manuals to support work.
