Agru America, Inc. seeks a Safety Manager to lead the ongoing development and implementation of safety policies at all manufacturing locations in the United States. You will drive a culture of safe operations and compliance with OSHA and company procedures.

Responsibilities include coordinating training, conducting audits, maintaining records, and guiding corrective actions. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years safety experience in an industrial/distribution environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA regulations.
• Experience with accident investigation and safety programs.
• Ability to train employees on safety topics.
• Experience with PPE management.

Responsibilities

• Develops and delivers regular safety training for new and current employees.
• Conducts on-site safety reviews and audits across facilities.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
• Maintains safety manuals, logs, and OSHA postings.
• Leads accident investigations and preventive programs.
• Organizes monthly safety committee meetings.
• Coordinates emergency preparedness with local responders.
