Atrium Staffing is seeking a Safety Manager - Manufacturing Operations for a Chicago-area manufacturing facility. Lead effective safety programs, regulatory compliance, and a culture of safety excellence across site operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing safety, strong leadership, and expertise in workers' compensation, incident investigations, and training. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of health and safety experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership in managing facility-wide safety programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety best practices.
• Experience with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver safety training programs.
• Experience managing workers' compensation claims and return-to-work initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and programs meeting regulatory requirements.
• Ensure OSHA compliance through audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Lead safety training for employees and leadership teams.
• Conduct risk assessments and routine facility inspections to mitigate hazards.
• Manage incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and root cause analysis.
• Oversee workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
• Facilitate safety meetings and site-wide safety communications.
• Support process safety management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture and accountability.
• Mentor safety team members and serve as site SME for safety matters.
