Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Coordinator to support the HSE Manager in developing, implementing, and enforcing safety programs across the site. The role focuses on minimizing injuries, eliminating hazards, and promoting a strong safety culture through training and hands-on leadership.

The position requires 1–2 years in General Industry Safety (manufacturing preferred), with OSHA 30 and First Responder certifications targeted within 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.
• Intermediate level computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Overtime and weekend work with a flexible schedule as needed.
• External candidates must have 1–2 years of experience in the General Industry Safety field, manufacturing preferred.
• Internal candidates preferred but not required.
• Willing to become a certified First Responder (First Aid, CPR, AED) within 60 days.
• Willing to achieve OSHA30 certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce workplace safety programs.
• Support OSHA, EPA and other regulatory compliance with records and reporting.
• Coordinate, conduct and track employee safety training.
• Assist investigations for incidents and root-cause analysis.
• Lead safety meetings, audits and safety walks.
• Prepare safety reports and regulatory submissions and dashboards.
