Qualifications

• Deep safety expertise in construction/manufacturing with EPA/OSHA credentials.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster safety culture.
• At least 2 years of safety management experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Instruction (MI).
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification.
• Coaching/mentoring experience.
• ISO 9001 certification experience.
• Commitment to GMP and EHS management.

Reporting to leadership and working alongside the Operations team, this Safety Coordinator role is responsible for the creation, execution, and oversight of our internal safety initiatives. You will be tasked with assessing work environments, performing regular safety audits, and delivering training sessions. Furthermore, you will design and implement strategic procedures aimed at mitigating risks related to physical, chemical, or ergonomic hazards, while ensuring full compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation.

Required Background and Skills

• Demonstrate deep expertise in workplace wellness and safety within construction, manufacturing, or production sectors, supported by active EPA and OSHA credentials.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by effectively interpreting and applying regulatory standards.
• Utilize strong interpersonal and communication abilities to foster a culture of safety.
• Possess at least two years of professional experience focused on safety management in a manufacturing setting.
