Job summary

Steves & Sons is seeking an experienced Recruitment Compliance Manager to lead recruiting, onboarding, and compliance initiatives for our manufacturing workforce.

This hands-on leadership role requires partnering with HR and operations to build scalable processes, optimize hiring, and ensure documentation and regulatory alignment.

The ideal candidate has a track record in high-volume manufacturing recruiting, program leadership, and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience required.
• 2+ years of experience managing recruiters or recruiting programs required.
• 2+ years of compliance experience required.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting within manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, or skilled-trades environments.
• Experience recruiting hourly manufacturing employees as well as supervisory and plant-leadership talent.
• Experience supporting high-volume hiring environments, including approximately 50 to 500+ hourly hires annually.
• Strong experience with full-cycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
• Experience with workforce planning and recruiting metrics.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Workday, UKG, ADP, Paycom, iCIMS, Greenhouse, or comparable platforms.
• Strong understanding of recruiting-process compliance and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership for recruiting and onboarding activities supporting manufacturing operations.
• Lead and support recruiting strategies for hourly production, skilled-trades, supervisory, and plant-leadership positions.
• Manage recruiting programs and provide direction, coaching, and support to recruiting team members.
• Remain actively involved in recruiting activities, including sourcing, candidate screening, interviewing, candidate evaluation, and difficult-to-fill searches.
• Partner with HR leadership and operational leaders to identify current and future staffing requirements and establish recruiting priorities.
• Develop and execute recruiting strategies to support both high-volume and specialized manufacturing hiring.
• Support workforce planning by evaluating staffing needs, hiring trends, recruiting pipelines, turnover, and anticipated workforce requirements.
• Oversee recruiting and onboarding processes to promote consistency, accuracy, appropriate documentation, and compliance with company practices and applicable employment requirements.
• Monitor recruiting processes and identify opportunities to strengthen efficiency, candidate quality, hiring speed, documentation, and the overall candidate experience.
• Support recruiting for positions including: Machine Operators, Assemblers, Production Workers, Maintenance Technicians, Welders, CNC Machinists, Forklift Operators, Supervisors, Plant Leadership.
