Job summary

Divergent is seeking a hands-on Recruiter, Non-Exempt Hiring, to support high-volume recruiting for hourly, non-exempt, technician, skilled-trades, and production roles across our manufacturing operations in Los Angeles area.

You will own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer, build pipelines, and partner with production leaders to meet hiring timelines in a fast-paced environment. Strong sourcing, screening, and data-driven decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, hardware, or similar technical environments.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting hourly, non-exempt, technician, skilled-trades, or high-volume positions.
• Experience proactively sourcing candidates rather than relying on applicants or staffing agencies.
• Ability to understand and screen for technical and hands-on manufacturing experience.
• Experience managing a high volume of open requisitions and candidates.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to operate with rapidly changing priorities.
• Strong partnership and communication skills with hiring managers and operational leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for non-exempt and hourly positions across production and manufacturing operations.
• Recruit for roles such as Production Technicians, Manufacturing Technicians, CNC Machinists, Quality Inspectors, Metrology Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Material Handlers, Logistics/Warehouse positions.
• Partner with Production and Operations leaders to understand hiring needs, shift requirements, and timelines.
• Conduct intake meetings and translate requirements into effective sourcing strategies.
• Screen applications, conduct recruiter screens, and move qualified candidates through process efficiently.
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, trade schools, and career fairs.
• Build and maintain pipelines for high-volume and recurring positions.
• Coordinate hiring events, onsite interviews, and career fairs.
• Maintain communication with candidates and provide positive experience.
• Schedule interviews and collect feedback with recruiters and hiring teams.
• Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
• Maintain candidate activity, notes, and data in Greenhouse.
• Monitor pipeline health and identify bottlenecks or delays.
• Use data to evaluate source effectiveness and time-to-fill.
• Develop relationships with local talent communities and schools.
• Partner with recruiting team to improve processes and candidate experience.
