Cornerstone Building Brands in Houston seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality system at our manufacturing facility. You will ensure compliance with IAS AC472, A660, AISC, and welding standards while training staff and driving continuous improvement on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in quality leadership, ISO/IAS awareness, and a strong background in welding processes. Travel up to 10% and involvement in cross-functional teams are expected.

Competenze

• BS/BA in Quality, Business, Engineering or related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
• CWI or willingness to obtain within year of employment.
• 8–10 years in a quality leadership role; Six-Sigma belt a plus.
• Subject matter expertise in structural welding and fabrication standards (AWS D1.1, D1.3).
• ASNT TC1A Level II UT preferred; strong problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Drive quality improvements from initiation to realization with a customer focus.
• Ensure compliance with US QMS requirements and IAS/UL/AISC audits.
• Lead QA team; hire/train Quality Engineers and QC staff.
• Manage corrective/preventive actions and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and implement Lean improvements to reduce defects and waste.
• Oversee weld qualification testing and training; audits with accreditors.
• Deliver results via defect rate, cost of quality, and action closure metrics.
