Persons Services Corporation is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead and uphold quality across our construction projects in Houston. You will oversee welding QC, develop procedures, and coordinate with clients to ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role requires CWI certification, deep knowledge of ASME piping codes and BPVC NDE, and a proven ability to mentor staff, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement in safety and quality programs.

Qualificações

• Current CWI Certification required.
• Proven knowledge of piping codes – ASME B31.1/B31.3.
• Experience with pressure vessels and boilers – ASME BPVC NDE (PT, MT, RT).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Experience leading quality teams in construction environments.

Responsabilidades

• Manage all welding aspects: welding/testing/tracking and weld procedure development.
• Act as quality liaison between field and client.
• Assist with QC packages, procedures, checklists for welding/ fabrication/ inspection activities.
• Provide weekly progress updates.
• Assist with nonconformances investigations and root cause analyses.
• Identify quality system gaps and implement improvements.
• Conduct project audits and monitor quality program effectiveness.
• Review material and MTRs and communicate quality requirements.
• Oversee quality management training and staff development.
