Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Specialist, Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support programs across design, development, production, test and supplier involvement. This role applies quality engineering principles to ensure compliance with customer and internal requirements.

You will lead corrective/preventive actions, participate in design reviews to identify inspectability and producibility issues, and drive continuous improvement using six sigma and lean methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with quality experience.
• Graduate degree plus 2+ years of related quality experience.
• Without degree, 8+ years of related quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer requirements flow-down and compliance to specs.
• Lead six sigma/lean improvement to reduce risk and cost.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Interpret drawings/specs and participate in design reviews for producibility.
• Support Material Review Board and nonconforming hardware processes.
