Job summary

Vaco Atlanta is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Expeditor in Conyers, GA to support our clients' purchasing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This contract role offers 4–6 months of work onsite, with a $28–$32/hour compensation and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain.

Role focuses on creating/updating POs, tracking orders, and maintaining data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems while collaborating with Buyers and suppliers to meet delivery

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of purchasing support, order management, inventory, supply chain coordination, or related manufacturing experience.
• ERP/MRP system experience.
• Strong Excel and data-entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Create and update purchase orders and maintain open-order reports.
• Track orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments.
• Follow up with suppliers and update delivery dates.
• Review MRP demand and process ERP system updates.
• Identify discrepancies or delays and escalate issues appropriately.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and documentation.
