Job summary

Vaco Atlanta is hiring a detail-oriented Purchasing Expeditor to support our client's purchasing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This contract position offers hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain.

You will create and track purchase orders, monitor supplier deliveries, and work with ERP/MRP systems to keep data accurate and up-to-date. Onsite 100% in Conyers, GA with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of purchasing support or related manufacturing experience.
• ERP/MRP system experience required.
• Strong Excel and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and update purchase orders and maintain open-order reports.
• Track orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments.
• Follow up with suppliers and update delivery dates.
• Review MRP demand and process ERP system updates.
• Identify discrepancies or delays and escalate issues appropriately.
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and documentation.

Role: Purchasing Expeditor

Location: Conyers, GA

Onsite: 100% onsite, temporary overtime may be required.

Job Type: Contract

Contract Length: 4-6 months

Compensation: $28-$32/hour

What You’ll Do

• Create and update purchase orders and maintain open-order reports
• Track orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments
• Follow up with suppliers and update delivery dates
• Review MRP demand and process ERP system updates
• Identify discrepancies or delays and escalation issues appropriately
• Maintain accurate purchasing data and documentation

What You Bring

• 1–4 years of purchasing support, order management, inventory, supply chain coordination, or related manufacturing experience
• ERP/MRP system experience
• Strong Excel and data-entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and follow-through
• Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume work accurately
