Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a seasoned facilities and maintenance professional to lead capital and maintenance projects in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets, schedules, and documentation while acting as the SME for procurement and ERP/CMMS workflows.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with OSHA PSM, ISO standards, and continuous improvement through process optimization and 5S. Strong safety culture is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; 5+ years in manufacturing plants or facilities.
• OR High School diploma with 10+ years in manufacturing plants and facilities.
• Experience in heavily regulated environments (OSHA PSM or ISO).

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute capital and maintenance projects up to $500K per project, within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise subcontracted trades and construction activities on-site.
• Serve as SME on procurement, leading sourcing and requisition of contractors, equipment, and materials.
• Provide management with transparent status reports on safety, finances, milestones, and risks.
• Manage site deviation/event, CAPAs, and change controls from creation to closure.
• Maintain plant maintenance records, work orders, and calibration activities in ERP.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM, ISO 9001/14001/45001, and related standards.
• Resolve complex maintenance challenges through root-cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive process optimization, site safety, quality improvements, and 5S.
• Enforce strict safety PPE and keep clean, organized work areas.
