Job summary

Staffing-Agency-Recruitment is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager in Massachusetts to drive capital projects, improve equipment reliability, and oversee maintenance programs while prioritizing safety, quality, and operational excellence.

You will lead engineering and facilities teams, manage budgets and vendors, and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver plant improvements and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing/ pharma environments.
• Experience leading engineering and maintenance teams.
• Strong CAPEX project management and budget oversight.”

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering, maintenance, and facilities teams to support safe and efficient plant operations.
• Manage capital (CAPEX) projects from planning through implementation, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs, CMMS, work orders, spare parts inventory, and reliability initiatives.
• Develop engineering solutions to improve production, quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments on equipment installations and plant improvements.
• Manage budgets, contractors, and third‑party vendors.
• Lead startups, commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ activities, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Hire, coach, develop, and evaluate engineering and maintenance staff.
• Ensure GMP, food safety, ISO compliance and regulatory adherence.
