Job summary

MilliporeSigma in the United States is seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead capital-project construction from initiation to closeout. You will manage multiple concurrent projects, ensure on-time, within-budget delivery, and coordinate with engineering, regulatory, and supplier teams.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Construction Management or engineering, 8+ years of experience, and PMI PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management preferred.
PMI PMP certification preferred.
Strong communication and coordination skills are essential.
Experience in life science/pharma/chemical or food manufacturing industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate day-to-day construction across multiple concurrent projects from concept to closeout.
Ensure on-time delivery per specifications, within budget, with full documentary compliance.
Develop lift plans for equipment installations with the construction team.
Coordinate site outages to minimize disruption of construction activities.
Manage procurement and vendor selection and review bids.
Oversee means and methods on-site and coordinate startup with production and maintenance.
Apply lean/value-added project management concepts and maintain project documentation.
