Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering required. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Or Technology) preferred.
• 2+ years experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Problem solving, decision analysis, situation appraisal skills.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
• Self directed and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Team player with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong organization and computer skills - MS Office, MS Project, MINITAB, AutoCAD, Mainsaver, Chase, Rockwell RS software.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and modify mechanical and electromechanical devices or systems to improve reliability and productivity.
• Provide engineering solutions including hardware/software design, installation, startup, commissioning and ongoing support.
• Develop bid/technical specifications and solicit bids; work with procurement to award contracts.
• Develop project schedules and oversee installations.
• Follow Management of Change processes for project implementation.
• Lead regular progress meetings and track commitments; escalate issues as needed.
• Track and manage project budgets; oversee preventive maintenance and spare parts.
• Create/update drawings, programs, documentation, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with outside vendors and manage external contractors.
