Job summary

Avery Dennison Identification Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Miamisburg, Ohio facility. You will lead cost-saving projects tied to strategic goals and support manufacturing with process improvements and preventive maintenance.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong electronics and mechanical knowledge, CAD experience, and a focus on safety and efficiency in an on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering and 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electronic systems (wiring diagrams, schematics, PLC logic) and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and process documentation.
• CAD experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD; Oracle EBS R12 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost-saving projects aligned with business goals.
• Promote safety as a core value through training and EHS responsibilities.
• Develop, document, and implement standard manufacturing processes and controls.
• Provide day-to-day support to resolve production and quality issues with maintenance teams.
• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Engineering Manager on Lean Sigma initiatives.
• Optimize labor and material flow and manage equipment validation run-offs and special projects.
