Job summary

Avery Dennison is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead controls engineering, project engineering, and maintenance teams at the Concord and Painesville, OH facilities. You will drive process improvements, asset reliability, and safety initiatives while aligning engineering with business goals.

You will report to the plant leadership team and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure project delivery and capital investments meet safety, quality, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Controls, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in project engineering, plant maintenance, or engineering leadership in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including automation control.
• Experience leading multiple priorities and cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and TPM program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls engineering, project engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Drive process improvements, asset reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Align engineering initiatives with site priorities and business strategy.
• Oversee safety as a core value and contribute to EHS responsibilities.
• Manage project delivery, cost center financials, and capital projects.
