Job summary

Crystal Finishing Systems is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead capital equipment projects from concept to implementation. You will drive continuous improvement using Lean tools and conduct time studies to develop labor standards and SOPs.

You will optimize workflows and space utilization, collaborate across functions, and support safety initiatives and design-for-manufacturing for new products. This role offers hands-on floor support and opportunities to contribute to strategic plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years in manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for driving results and making impactful improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage capital equipment projects from concept to implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools like Value Stream Mapping.
• Conduct time studies and develop labor standards and SOPs.
• Optimize workflows, layouts, and space utilization for efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and implement solutions.
• Support safety initiatives through ergonomic assessments and OSHA compliance.
• Provide technical support for new products and design-for-manufacturing efforts.
• Deliver daily floor support and contribute to strategic manufacturing plans.
