Job summary

West Leland Group is seeking an experienced Capital Projects Manager to oversee engineering and capital improvement projects across our manufacturing and facility operations in Lake Bluff, IL. You will lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution, coordinating engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget, while minimizing disruption to ongoing production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in engineering/capital projects.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution skills.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering and capital projects from planning through turnover.
• Oversee equipment installations, facility improvements, and utilities scope.
• Develop and maintain scopes, schedules, budgets, milestones, and execution plans.
• Coordinate engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor costs, schedules, risks, change orders, and performance.
• Lead meetings, track actions, and ensure delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Facilities.
• Identify challenges and minimize disruption to operations.
