Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or other Lean certification.
• 3 years of project management training or experience.
• Experience with metal or high-volume production.
• Excellent communications and cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to produce formal reports, ROI calculations, metrics, and audits.
• Proficient with MS Office at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Manage continual improvement projects in manufacturing and office environments.
• Manage capital projects for new manufacturing equipment.
• Facilitate and participate in cross-functional teams.
• Maintain project hopper and coordinate with Operational Excellence to prioritize projects.
• Organize and deliver project status updates to project owners and management.
• Strategic coordination of projects within Operational Excellence to hit annual cost-savings goals.
