Job summary

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer in New Jersey to oversee the design and management of large capital equipment through order, build, and startup stages. The role includes creating engineering drawings and Bills of Materials, supporting customers, and troubleshooting as needed.

The engineer will also collaborate with field service on startup, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities to ensure successful handover and system performance.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering is required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in mechanical systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage large capital equipment projects from concept through startup.
• Prepare and issue full system releases with engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Provide customer support and perform troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with the field service team on startup, commissioning and handover.
