Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree or equivalent.
• Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, engineering, or project-based work.
• Experience working in a team environment through school projects or internships.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes, automation, or robotics.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with project management tools is a plus (Microsoft Project, etc.).
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• The Project Engineer executes capital equipment and manufacturing improvement projects from concept through production release.
• Collaborates with Project Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, and suppliers to meet schedule, safety, quality, and operational goals.
• Serves as technical validation lead for project execution, handling design reviews, vendor management, installation, commissioning, qualification, and issue resolution.
• Works independently with professional judgment and applies specialized expertise to project tasks.
