Job summary

The Project Controls Coordinator at United Felts, Inc. supports planning, coordination, and execution of projects across Quality, Engineering and Operations.

You will maintain schedules, budgets, meeting records, and action logs to keep programs on track. You will work with project owners to track reviews and approvals, prepare agendas, distribute notes, and escalate risks or delays while upholding safety and manufacturing standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Strong organization and follow-through.
• Clear written communication skills.
• Experience coordinating projects in a manufacturing/operational environment.
• Combination of office and manufacturing floor environments.
• Ability to stand/walk and lift up to 35 lbs as needed.
• Adherence to PPE requirements in manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project plans in Microsoft Project (or equivalent), including milestones, dependencies, critical path, deadlines, and assigned owners.
• Track budgets, actual spending, and projected costs; flag variances for leadership review.
• Coordinate calendars, project meetings, and required reviews.
• Prepare agendas, document decisions, and distribute meeting notes with clear action items, owners, and due dates.
• Follow up with Quality, Engineering and Operations leaders to keep commitments and deliverables on schedule.
• Maintain project documentation and track required quality checks and approvals.
• Provide concise status updates highlighting progress, risks, overdue actions, and decisions needed.
• Escalate issues that could affect schedules, budgets, quality, or company standards.
