Qualifications

  • 2+ years of project coordination or related experience.
  • Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with project management software is a plus (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Procore).
  • Knowledge of purchase orders, scheduling, and document control processes.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, contracts, submittals, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate communication between internal departments, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Track project budgets, purchase orders, change orders, and project expenses.
  • Prepare status reports, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.
  • Support material procurement and delivery scheduling activities.
  • Assist in managing project risks, issues, and action items.
  • Ensure project files are accurate, complete, and maintained according to company standards.
  • Monitor workload and resource allocation to support project goals.
  • Help facilitate project closeout activities, including final documentation and customer deliverables.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies.

Job description

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing, precast concrete, construction, or industrial operations.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Procore, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of purchase orders, scheduling, and document control processes.
  • Understanding of basic budgeting and contract administration.
