Job summary

Butting Group USA in Alabama seeks a Project Coordinator to manage customer projects from order through delivery. You will coordinate planning, material procurement, scheduling, and cross-functional communication with customers, suppliers, sales, and production.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to balance multiple priorities in a manufacturing setting. Strong communication, detail orientation, and ability to interpret drawings are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in administrative, business operations, or project support.
• Experience reading engineering drawings or fabrication specs.
• Proficiency in Excel, dashboards, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with CAD tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from order release to completion, tracking scope, schedule, and changes.
• Lead material planning, procurement, PO issuance, and delivery coordination.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure production readiness and documentation.
• Act as liaison between customers, suppliers, sales, operations, and production.
• Prepare status reports and identify schedule improvements and standard work.
• Maintain project records and reporting tools; manage priorities and risks.
