Job summary

Civil Recruit is seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor III for an on-site role in Denver, CO. You will oversee a large, fast-paced facility, coordinate production and warehouse activities, and drive efficiency and quality across shifts.

The position requires leadership experience in production and Lean Manufacturing, with opportunities for weekend work and potential conversion to full-time employment after the assignment. A panel interview will be conducted.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a production environment.
• 1+ year of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong ability to lead and develop a diverse workforce, including unionized teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate various manufacturing and warehouse functions to drive financial results and ensure on-time, quality product delivery.
• Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans (short and long term).
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles and new technology to maximize efficiency.
• Promote cost-saving initiatives and a safe, high-trust work environment.
• Ensure production complies with Safeway, OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP guidelines and other regulations.

Summary

• Production Supervisor III

Location:4301 Forest St, Denver, CO 80216

1st Shift 6am to 2:30pm

• 2nd Shift 2pm to10:30pm

3rd Shift 10pm to 6:30 am

*** please note which shift your candidate is interested in.

• Days of the week are TBD as management is currently developing a schedule.
• Associates may be required to work weekends, potentially at least one day each weekend.

Is there a possibility this assignment will be extended? Yes

Is there a possibility this assignment will convert to full time employment? Yes

Candidates will have a panel interview.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a single large, complex and fast paced production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.

Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.

Promote development of cost saving initiatives.

Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.

Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications:

2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment

1 of more years’ experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong leadership background — ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce

Ability to manage and develop employees

Availability — willingness to work hours and holidays

Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, – PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
