1st Shift 6am to 2:30pm
2nd Shift 2pm to10:30pm
3rd Shift 10pm to 6:30 am

Days of the week are TBD as management is currently developing a schedule.
Associates may be required to work weekends, potentially at least one day each weekend.

Responsible for the coordination of various manufacturing and warehouse functions within a single large, complex and fast paced production facility to drive maximum financial results and deliver a quality on-time product for customers.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.
Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.
Promote development of cost saving initiatives.
Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.
Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
2 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment
1 of more years' experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce
Ability to manage and develop employees
Availability – willingness to work hours and holidays
Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.
